Terms for the music bot and the rented TeamTalk servers

What you are paying for

One bot, hosted and run by AudioWander, connecting to one TeamTalk server that you give us the details for. The price is £9.99 for each month. Payment is taken in advance through Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your card details.

If you rent a TeamTalk server

You get a TeamTalk 5 server of your own on our machine, on a port that is yours alone, with the number of simultaneous users and the file space of the plan you chose. You are its administrator: channels, users, bans and rights are yours to set. We keep the program updated, restart the server if it stops, and keep a copy of its configuration every night for fourteen days.

The file space is a hard limit set on the server itself; when it is full, uploads into your channels stop until you delete something. If you need more, move to a bigger plan and we adjust it without losing anything. We may move your server to a different port only if we have to (a port conflict or an attack), and we tell you first whenever that is possible.

The same month, the same reminder and the same sixty day keeping period apply as below. A suspended server is stopped, not deleted: channels, users and files wait for you.

You may point a domain name of your own at your server, and the panel explains how. The domain name stays yours and stays your responsibility: what it is used for is up to you, and when you stop renting the server we ask you to remove the record that sends it to us.

The month, and what happens at the end of it

A month is 30 days. A week before it ends we e-mail you a payment link. If the time runs out, the bot is suspended and leaves your channel (or the rented server is stopped) the same day. Your settings, lists and uploads are kept for sixty days after that, so paying later brings everything back as it was. After sixty days they may be deleted.

Refunds

If the bot does not work on your server and we cannot fix it within seven days of your first payment, write to contact@audiowander.com and we refund that month in full. Beyond that, a month already started is not refunded; you can simply stop renewing at any time.

Fair use

The bot plays what you ask it to play. You are responsible for having the right to broadcast it on your server, and for what your users request. We may suspend a bot, without a refund, that is used to break the law, to attack other services, or to stream material you have no right to.

The service

We keep the bot updated and running, and we watch the host. We cannot promise that a third party service (YouTube, an IPTV provider, a radio station) will keep working, or that your own TeamTalk server stays up. If our host is down for more than twenty four hours in a month, ask and we will add those days to your time.

Your data

We store: your e-mail address, the TeamTalk connection details you give us, what you upload, the configuration of any server you rent, and a record of your payments (the provider's reference, amount and date). We do not sell anything to anybody. Ask at contact@audiowander.com and we delete your account and everything with it.

Listening in from the panel

The panel can play the sound your bot is putting into your channel. That stream is private to your account, is never recorded and never kept: it is the live sound and nothing else. It exists so you can check the bot without opening TeamTalk.
