The voyager pass

A season lasts 28 days and always starts on a Monday. Each season has 60 tiers. You climb them by earning pass XP, and every tier gives a reward straight away: food and useful items, Voyage Tokens, or a few ln points.

Every tenth tier is a milestone with a bigger reward: a title (Voyager deckhand, navigator, captain, pathfinder, trailblazer and legend), more Voyage Tokens, a voyager globe for your home at tier 10, a voyager parrot companion at tier 30, and car decals at tiers 20, 40, 50 and 60.

Tier 1 needs 305 XP and each tier needs 5 XP more than the one before, up to 600 XP for tier 60. The menu always tells you where you stand, for example: tier 12 of 60, 340 of 365 XP to the next tier.

After tier 60, every 1500 more XP gives 2 Voyage Tokens.

When a season ends the best travellers of the season are named, and every pass starts again at tier 1. Your passport stamps, titles and car decals stay with you.

How pass xp is earned

Journeys, flights, island and map quests and road trips give XP when you finish them.

Every new passport stamp: 40 XP.

Courier deliveries: 30 XP each. Other work at any trade: 10 XP each.

Catching a fish, crafting something or mining ore: 10 XP. Hunting an animal: 15 XP.

Being out and about in the world: 15 XP for every five minutes you are on the move.

Each of these has a small daily limit of its own, and together activities give at most 1200 XP a day. The limit resets at midnight.

The daily calendar step, weekly challenges and region seals come on top of the limit.

Weekly challenges

Every Monday five new challenges are chosen, such as catch 20 fish, deliver 8 courier parcels or collect 5 new passport stamps. Each one pays 800 pass XP and 2 Voyage Tokens. Finish all five in the same week for 5 extra tokens.

The passport

Every place you visit gets a stamp in your passport the first time you arrive. Places are grouped into regions: seas and islands, the frozen north, deserts and canyons, caves and the underground, forests, jungles and marshes, hills, plains and mountains, danger zones and mysteries, towns and cities, and houses, shops and halls.

The passport menu tells you how many stamps you have in each region and in all, as a percentage. Pick a region to hear which places you have stamped and which are still missing.

Stamp three quarters of a region to earn its region seal: 10 Voyage Tokens, 500 pass XP and a region title such as Seafarer or Cave explorer. Stamping every place in a region gives 5 more tokens.

Seal every region to become a World traveller: a title, 25 Voyage Tokens and a special car decal, and the whole world hears about it.

The weekly voyager league

All the pass XP you earn in a week counts for the league. The week closes at midnight on Sunday. The top ten, with at least 500 XP, share Voyage Tokens, from 30 for first down to 6 for tenth, and wear a league title for the next week. The champion also unlocks the laurel car decal.

The voyager calendar

Each day you come into the world you move one step along a seven day calendar, and each step pays more: from 100 pass XP on day 1 up to 500 pass XP and 5 Voyage Tokens on day 7. Then the calendar starts again.

Missing a day or two keeps your place. Three days away or more starts the calendar again from day 1.

Coming back after a week or more away brings a comeback wind: for three days your daily XP limit is doubled and the calendar steps count twice.

This calendar is separate from your daily login streak, which still pays its own reward.

Car decals

A decal changes only how your car is described to other players, never how it drives. Choose which one to show, or none, in the pass menu under Car decals.

The globe and the parrot

Use the voyager globe to hear how much of the world is in your passport. Use the voyager parrot and it squawks the name of a place you have not stamped yet, from the region you know least.

Announcements

Season endings, league results and new World travellers are announced to everyone. You can turn these off in Privacy options, Announcements: choose what you hear.

New: the voyager pass premium

The voyager pass premium is sold in the credit shop for 750 credits. It opens the golden premium track for one season:

A second reward at every one of the 60 tiers, on top of the normal one. If you are already at tier 25 when you open it, the 25 premium rewards you have missed arrive at once.

The premium rewards are island food and drink, lucky fishing charms, pet treats, car air fresheners and messages in a bottle, Voyage Tokens, a little ln point, six premium titles (Golden voyager, First class voyager, Royal globetrotter, Jet setter, Sky baron and Voyager of the golden age), three golden car decals, a captain's world clock at tier 30 and a golden albatross companion at tier 60. In all about 1600 ln point and 66 Voyage Tokens over a whole season.

Your pass XP grows 20 percent faster until the season ends. The extra XP moves only your own tiers; the weekly league, the season board and the weekly challenges count everyone's normal XP, so nobody can buy a place there.

You get the title Golden passport, and the pass menu shows your golden premium line.

If the daily token limit is full, premium tokens wait in your premium purse and reach your bag as soon as there is room, usually the next day.

Buying late in a season

Before you pay, the credit shop tells you how many days are left in the season and which tier you are at. When you use the pass you choose: open it for the season that is running, or save it for the next season. Saving is possible in the last 7 days of a season, or at any time once your premium track for this season is already open. A saved pass opens by itself on the first day of that season. You can hold a pass for this season and one for the next, no more.

The pass is bound to you the moment you use it, so it can never be lost, stolen or traded.

Tier skips

A voyager pass tier skip costs 150 credits in the credit shop. Use it and your pass moves exactly five tiers at once, with the rewards of those tiers, premium ones too if your premium track is open. Tiers reached with a skip never pay ln point.

You can use at most 3 tier skips in one season, and carry at most 3. A skip cannot be used when fewer than five tiers are left; keep it for the next season. XP from a skip does not count for the weekly league, the season board or the weekly challenges.

Use a skip from your bag, or from the voyager pass menu, Premium track.

The captain's world clock and the golden albatross

Use the captain's world clock to hear the world time and how long until the season ends, the weekly league closes and the day turns over, and how long your token booster still runs. Use it inside your own home to set it on your souvenir shelf, where it adds to your home score.

Use the golden albatross and it circles above you and calls, so everyone near you hears it. It tells you which region is closest to its next passport seal and names places there you have not stamped yet.

The passport and your rewards

Your passport now fills your rewards too. Every tenth stamp puts a passport page trophy in your trophy cabinet. A region seal also gives its title in the rewards title list and a piece of the Region seals collection; a full region gives a trophy; and sealing every region gives the World traveller title and the World traveller's globe trophy.
