The sprinkler
What it is
A brass sprinkler on a standpipe, bought with points. It is expensive on purpose.
Where it goes
Inside your own private field, or in the garden of your own luxury pool villa, and nowhere else. It needs a tap. Your husband's or wife's ground counts as your own.
What it does
Once a minute it waters every plant that is still growing within six squares of it, on the same level. You do not have to be there, you do not have to be online, and it keeps doing it for whatever you plant after the harvest. That is the whole point of it: you plant and it looks after the watering.
What it costs
Every sprinkler you have standing adds to the daily water bill of the home it stands in. If the water is cut off for an unpaid bill the sprinkler stops until you pay. Four sprinklers is the most one water supply will carry.
Taking it up
Stand on it and press shift and enter. It goes back in your bag.
Pests
A sprinkler waters, it does not treat. If something gets at the roots of a plant it grows at two thirds speed until you use a herb remedy or a herbal salve on that square.
