Sunspire quarry

What it is

A vast open-pit stone and marble quarry cut into the hillside above Copper

Hills, cart tracks and cutting terraces climbing the slopes.

How to get there

In Copper Hills Mine Town, find the old cart track leading further up into

the hills (press shift enter there) and follow it. You arrive at Worker

Camp. The same cart track, from inside Sunspire Quarry, takes you back

down to Copper Hills.

Places

Worker Camp is where you arrive: Foreman Petra's post and Stonecarver

Dob's bench are both here, and Crane Operator Yusuf runs an ore cart down

to the Lower Pit. Beyond camp: the Quarry Stone Terrace, the marble

staging area, an old crystal-flecked vein, the Cutter's Bench, and, far to

the north, the Lower Pit itself. A sealed vault door is tucked in the

far corner of the quarry.

Gathering

The Quarry Stone Terrace: shift+enter, no tool needed, quarry stone. The

old vein north-west of camp: shift+enter with any pickaxe in your bag,

quarry geodes (lower chance). Both have a short cooldown between tries

and a daily limit.

Trade

Foreman Petra buys quarry stone and quarry geode for ln point, capped per

day. One of the two goods pays 50 percent extra each week; ask her post

which.

The sunspire blast

A world event on a schedule: a controlled blast rumbles through the

quarry, loosening fresh stone, and gathering is easier for a few minutes

while it lasts. Check /sunspire for when the next one is expected.

The quarry tusker

A huge old boar guarding the Lower Pit. It comes back some time after

being defeated. Whoever lands the killing blow shares Voyage Tokens, ln

point and a one-time trophy. Take care down there.

The old rockface

Five hidden inscriptions scattered around Sunspire Quarry. Look at each

one (shift+enter) to collect it. Once you have found all five, the

Miner's Vault in the far corner of the quarry opens to you, and you earn

a title.

The cutter's bench

Offer a quarry geode (shift+enter at the bench, or use one while standing

there) toward your Quarry Favor. Offerings are used up, not refunded;

milestones at 5, 15 and 30 offerings unlock a keepsake charm, a title and

a trophy.

The sunspire statue

A three part quest chain from Stonecarver Dob at his bench: bring him

quarry stone, then speak with Foreman Petra about the Lower Pit survey,

then, once you have opened the Miner's Vault, tell him. Each part pays a

little ln point on top of its own keepsake, title or trophy.

The ore cart

Ask Crane Operator Yusuf for a ride at his platform in Worker Camp: a

short cart ride down to the rim of the Lower Pit and back, same idea as a

short ferry crossing.

Command

/sunspire (or /quarry) opens the Sunspire Quarry menu from anywhere: the

guide, your Old Rockface progress, your Quarry Favor, the Sunspire Blast

status, and Sunspire records. It is also listed in the village "More to

do" menu.
