The three stories

The Keeper's Letter: a thirty year old letter, a dark lighthouse, a shipwreck and a hermit by the lake. Chapters in the village, Old Lighthouse Cape, Shipwreck Coast, the Large Lake, the Skyport and Old Lighthouse Cape again.

The Fallen Star: a torn star chart, a stone that hums, a painted tomb ceiling and a night of falling stars. Chapters on Starlight Observatory Hill, the Mountain, Glacier Station, Pyramid Valley, Sakura Valley and back on the hill.

The Last Seed: a failing harvest, a silver fox and the search for an old wheat. Chapters in the village, Bear Forest, the Tea Highlands, Marrakai Medina, the Misty Highlands and the village again.

How a chapter works

When a chapter starts, a narrator tells it, and the text is sent to your screen reader too. Most chapters ask for real work: catching fish, digging ore, cooking, harvesting crops or picking things in the woods. The work counts wherever you do it. When the task is done, travel to the chapter's place, open the story and choose Finish chapter. Hear this chapter again repeats the narration. The story so far reads back every chapter and your choices.

Choices and endings

Twice in every story you must choose, in chapter two and chapter four. Your choices change what happens, and the second choice decides which of the two endings you reach. Each ending gives a different title.

Rewards

The first time you tell a story: 150 ln point and a useful item (bread, tea, a candle or a first aid kit) for each chapter, and at the end 500 ln point, a trophy for your trophy cabinet, the title of your ending and the story's keepsake: the brass keeper's lantern, the humming star stone or the golden heirloom seed.

Use a keepsake from your bag to hear your ending again. With the keepsake in your bag you can choose Retell the story and play it again to reach the other ending and its title. A retelling gives the title, not points or items.

Missions

Every day three daily missions, taken in turn from a pool of seven: Morning catch (catch five fish), Ore run (dig eight pieces of ore), Green hands (harvest five crops), Forager's basket (pick eight things from the woods), Hot meals (cook three meals), Wanderer (visit three different places) and Hunter's patience (bring down two animals). Each pays 200 ln point and an item.

Every week, from Monday, three weekly missions: Grand tour (visit eight different places), Working week (sixty pieces of work of any kind) and Storyteller (finish two story chapters). Each pays 700 ln point and a first aid kit.

Restrooms, car parks, bus cabins and arenas do not count as places. When a mission is finished you hear a sound and a message; claim it in the missions menu.

After 10 missions you get the title Mission Regular, after 50 a trophy, after 150 the title The Tireless.

Limits

Points from story quests and missions are limited to 1000 a day. Anything above the limit is kept for you and paid on a later day. You cannot finish chapters or claim missions while you carry an arena bag.
