Premium treasures, part three, and new things in the points shop

What is new

Two things arrived together. The points shop has fourteen more useful things to buy with ln points, and the credit shop has five new premium treasures that are yours forever once you use them.

The points shop

Open the game menu and choose Spend points. Every item listed there can be bought with the ln points in your bag. These fourteen are new:

Umbrella, 600 points. Hold it in your hand while it rains and you stay dry.

Towel, 250 points. Use it to dry yourself and wipe off dirt. It does not wear out.

Hammock, 1500 points. Sit down, then use it to fall asleep and rest. You keep it after you wake up.

Health scanner, 900 points. Scans your health, sickness, drink and injuries. Each scan uses one battery, and batteries are sold in the same shop.

Sleeping pill, 60 points. Sit down and take one to fall asleep. One pill, one sleep.

Protein bar, 150 points. Takes away a lot of hunger and gives you energy.

Juice box, 60 points. A small drink that eases thirst and gives a little energy.

Fireworks, 200 points. Hold a lighter and the fireworks, have lighter fluid in your bag, and everyone near you sees them go up.

Compass, 400 points. Use it and it tells you which way you are facing.

Candle, 250 points. Light it and for about half an hour the cold bites at half its usual pace.

Lure, 1200 points. A fishing lure that never gets used up. It is used when you have no other bait, and any bait makes the wait for a bite shorter.

Box of matches, 200 points. Open it for twenty five matches.

Shovel, 1500 points. Dig up your own crops or trees to clear the ground, dig for finds while exploring, or search a trashcan.

Firestarter, 100 points. Starts a fire on dry ground outdoors.

Even more premium treasures

These five are sold in the credit shop. The first time you use one, it leaves your bag and is bound to your account for good, so it can never be lost, dropped, traded or stolen. After that, open the game menu, choose Village life, then More to do, then Even more premium treasures. You can also type slash treasures3.

None of them make you stronger in a fight, and none of them make points, credits or items.

The guide dog, 750 credits

A dog that walks at your side, and only you can hear it. It growls when a wild animal comes within twelve steps and tells you what it is and where. It barks hard if an angry animal is coming at you. When you walk towards a wall, a door or water, it stops you a step or two before you get there. Each of these warnings can be switched off on its own.

You can ask the dog to sniff the air, and it tells you the five closest animals within thirty steps. You can name your dog, choose its breed, and pet it. Send it home to rest when you want quiet; it comes back with you next time you log in if you left it walking.

The dog keeps quiet in PK arenas, arenas and jail, and it never tells you about other players.

The echo cane, 450 credits

Tap the cane and it tells you, for eight directions around you starting with the way you face, how far it is to the nearest wall, door, water or drop, up to twelve steps away. You can also tap straight ahead only, ask what you are standing on, and ask where you are. Slash cane taps all around you as a shortcut.

The weather station, 500 credits

The station knows the weather before it comes. Read the forecast to hear how long until the rain starts, or until it stops, the time on the world clock, and how long until dusk or dawn. Tap the barometer for a quick feel of what is coming. The outlook tells you whether it is a good time to fish, because fish bite faster in the rain, and whether the night sky is clear for stargazing. The weather diary keeps the last changes.

It can warn you ten minutes and two minutes before the rain, and two minutes before it stops, wherever you are. Dusk and dawn warnings are off at first; switch them on if you want them. It can also read the forecast when you log in. Slash forecast is a shortcut.

The wayfinder's thread, 600 credits

Tie the thread where you stand, and it unwinds behind you as you walk, leaving a knot every few steps. When you want to go back, ask it to lead you back the way you came: a guiding sound takes you from knot to knot. Or ask it to lead you straight to where the trail began. If your trail goes through another place, it tells you where to go and picks up again when you get there.

You can stop and restart the thread, add to an old trail, ask where the trail begins, and cut it when you are done. The trail is kept while the world is running, even if you log out. It can also start unwinding by itself each time you log in. It does not work in PK arenas, arenas or jail.

Friends' chimes, 400 credits

Give up to fifteen friends a chime of their own, from sixteen sounds. You hear their chime the moment they come into the world or leave it, and when they send you a private message, so you know who it is before the message is read. You can also pick one chime for messages from everyone else. Add friends who are here now from a list, or type a name. Each part can be switched on or off.
