Homestead points shop

What it is

The Homestead Points Shop is 20 items bought with ln point, which you earn by playing. Buy them from the game menu, Spend points, the same place as any other point-shop item. Open your own menu from Village life, More to do, Homestead Points Shop, or by typing slash garden, slash prestige, or slash visitgarden followed by a name. All 20 items are permanent and stay with your account (they cannot be dropped or traded) except the Moonflower Seed, which is spent the moment you plant it.

Your garden

Garden Plot is the foundation: buy and use it once to mark out a personal garden corner, then keep it in your bag. Everything below needs the Garden Plot first. Garden Fountain gives you (and any visitor) a small daily sip that eases thirst. Garden Gnome greets you and visitors with one of six lines. Garden Bench lets you sit, read the guestbook, or leave a line for the next visitor. Garden Lantern String can be lit or put out, and glows warmest after dark. Porch Swing lets you invite a nearby player to swing together. Welcome Mat sets the line read to every visitor first. Visitor's Bell keeps a log of your last 20 visitors. Campfire Circle Kit lights for about 20 minutes with a fresh story-starter question each time. Keepsake Display Case shows your piece count, visitor count and garden age. Prestige Medallion Case shows your current Prestige Path rank to visitors, once you have reached one. Moonflower Seed plants a flower that only blooms after dark.

Visiting

Type slash visitgarden followed by a player's name (they must be online) to hear their garden: the welcome mat's line, then whichever pieces they own, in order. If they have a fountain you get a small sip too. The owner is told when someone visits, at most once every 20 seconds. Preview your own garden the same way from the garden menu.

Personal charms

These do not need a garden. Pocket Watch Chime tells the time of day and can carry a short engraving. Musical Pendant hums one of five tunes to everyone nearby, moving to the next tune each time. Starlight Charm is a nightly wish, once a night; 7 nights running earns the title the Star-Wished. Engraved Pocket Mirror gives one private line a day about how your day is going. Trusty Toolbelt remembers up to 5 tool names and tells you which you are carrying and which you are missing. Portable Whetstone is a daily tool-care ritual with a streak; 14 days running earns the title the Well-Kept. Star Map Charm names the night's constellation from a rotating set of 8, after dark only. Tea Set for Two invites a nearby player to share a quiet cup of tea, a small once-a-day thirst ease for you both.

The prestige path

A separate, repeatable points sink on top of the 20 items. Ten ranks, each costing more points than the last (1000 up to 35000), each with its own title such as Prestige III, the Devoted. Reaching rank 5 or rank 10 earns you a real title and is announced to the world (you can turn these announcements off in your notification preferences). Open it from the Homestead Points Shop menu or by typing slash prestige.
