PEOPLE PLUS (27 September 2026 update)

Open the game menu, Life plus, "People plus: family, friends, clubs, mail, neighborhoods and small

events". You can also type /peopleplus (short form /pp). Escape always takes you one menu back.

Family tree and family fund

Register a parent or a child from the Family menu; the other player must accept from their own

"requests waiting for me" list (a child can have at most two parents). Your family tree then speaks

your spouse (if married), parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, cousins and every

kind of in-law.

The family fund is a shared points chest. Found one for 100 points, or be added by a relative who

already has one (parent, child, sibling or spouse). Each member may put in up to 20000 points and take

out up to 10000 points a day, and every move is logged under Recent activity. You can leave the fund

at any time; the last member must empty it first.

Friends

"Friends: notes and login pings" lists your friends. Give any friend a short note ("fisherman, comes

mornings") and turn on a login ping for just that friend, separate from your general online-notify

setting.

Clubs

If you are in a club, "Clubs: hall, events and the weekly league" lets you describe where your club

meets, add and browse club events (they also appear in the Events calendar), and check in once a day

for the weekly inter-club league. The club with the most check-ins each week wins: every member gets a

trophy and 150 points.

Map chat

/mapchat message (short form /mc message), or the "Map chat" menu entry, sends a message only to

players on your current map. One message every 3 seconds; players who muted you do not hear it.

Cargo letters

Send an item stack (1 to 1000 of one item) with a short note to any player for 20 points postage, up

to 3 letters a day. The letter waits in their mailbox even while they are offline; when they collect it

you get a return receipt. Credits, points, items that are bound to you (no-drop items) and items from a

temporary arena or event bag cannot be posted. Collect letters after you leave an arena.

Newspaper player columns

Write one column of up to 500 letters a week from "Newspaper: player columns"; everybody can read the

week's columns there. Your first column earns the "Newspaper columnist" unlock.

Photo captions

"Add a caption to a photo" lets you attach, change or remove a short caption on any photo in your

album.

Mentor matching

Players in their first 3 days can ask for a mentor; experienced players opt in to be one (2 new

players at a time, 10 in total). When the new player comes back on a later day, both get a one-time

300 point reward.

Village library project

Donate points toward the current community project; the menu always says how much is raised and the

percentage. Donated points are spent for good. When the goal is reached everybody is told, and the top

donor earns the title "Founder of the Village library".

Player survey

Staff post a short question with several answers; everyone may answer once and hear the results with

percentages at any time.

Events calendar

One list of everything coming up: club events, wedding parties and more. Select an event to be reminded

10 minutes before it starts (select it again to remove the reminder).

Players online now

Every online player with the title they wear, their profession and their club.

Neighborhoods

Found a neighborhood for 5000 points or join one; members vote for a headman and can change their vote

at any time. "Visit a neighbor" knocks on an online neighbor's door: both of you hear the knock, and

they choose to let you in or not. If the headman leaves, the next member takes over; the last one out

closes the neighborhood.

Picnic

Prepare a picnic lunch from 1 bread, 1 apple and 1 cheese (this is separate from the permanent

picnic basket travel gear, which works as before). Use it from your bag (or the Picnic menu)

while another player is within 5 steps of you: you both eat a little and each get 60 points, once a day

per player.

Campfire story night

Start a campfire and tell a story (up to 500 letters); everyone within 15 steps hears it, and it goes

into the story archive. Each listener may rate the story once; a good rating gives the teller 5

points. An untold campfire burns down after 15 minutes.

Talent contest

Enter one song, joke or poem as text each week; everyone may vote for one entry (not their own) and

change the vote during the week. The winner of each week gets a trophy, 250 points and an

announcement.

Wedding planner

For a married couple: book the party time (5 minutes to a week ahead; it joins the Events calendar so

guests can set a reminder), invite guests by name, and order the chapel's wedding cake (same price as

the chapel shop). Use the cake at the party and everybody near you gets a slice. The marriage itself still happens at the altar

as before.

Notifications and quiet hours

Turn the People plus announcements (league winner, library finished, talent winner) off or on, and set

quiet hours (start and end hour) during which those announcements are not sent to you.

Account anniversary gift: given on each yearly anniversary of your account, single use, opens for 1000

to 2000 points.
