Grand vault

What it is

The Grand Vault is a set of luxury items sold in the credit shop. The permanent ones are bound to your account the first time you use them from your bag: they leave the bag and can never be lost, dropped, traded or taken from you. A few are passes that are used up. Open everything from the game menu, Life plus, Grand Vault, or by typing slash gv. Every command below is also an entry in that menu.

The permanent items

Radio Station License (1800 credits): choose a free frequency from 88 to 108 FM, name your station, go on the air, speak to your listeners in your own words and cue station music. Anyone can tune in. A weekly board counts your listeners. Going on air lasts until you go off air or leave the game.

Private Rail Car (2600 credits): lay up to 5 named stops on one map. Stand at a stop, choose it, and ride to any other of your stops in a 20 second journey with a horn and clacking wheels, once every 10 minutes.

Clubhouse Deed (2200 credits): site a clubhouse anywhere outdoors, make it open to all or invitation only, and invite up to 40 names. Visitors press shift and enter at the spot, even while you are offline, to step in, sign your guestbook and read it. No dues or vault: a personal lounge, not a registered club.

Flying Legendary Mount (3200 credits): mark two roosts on one map and fly between them in a 15 second flight with wingbeats and wind, once every 5 minutes. A fast local hop, not a flight between towns.

Personal Museum (2000 credits): write up to 6 exhibits in your own words and set a ticket price from 1 to 30 points. Visitors press shift and enter at your door, even while you are offline, buy a ticket and hear every exhibit. You earn at most 50 points a day from tickets; what visitors pay while you are away is paid at your next login.

Private Channel Deed (1200 credits): invite up to 20 players. Whatever you or a member says on the channel reaches only the members who are online, anywhere in the world.

Weather Station (1000 credits): a daily forecast and a 2 hour favourable window each day; collect a small harvest bonus of 15 to 24 points once a day inside the window.

Mining Claim Deed (1600 credits): your own ore vein, separate from the public mine. Stand on it with a pickaxe and strike it for 2 to 5 stone or ore; it refills in 15 minutes.

Boutique Hotel Deed (2800 credits): site the front desk. Travelling guests check in over time and tip you, and real players press shift and enter at the desk to book a room at your price (5 to 40 points), waking with restored energy. Hotel income is capped at 60 points a day. Ratings, a weekly bookings board, and The Gracious Host title every 25 guests.

Grand Beacon Deed (1400 credits): once a week, light the beacon: a fanfare and a message reach everyone near you and every player who keeps Grand beacons switched on in Privacy options, Announcements.

Family Crest Charter (1300 credits): found a named family, choose one of 10 crest motifs, invite up to 30 members, and unfurl your banner so everyone near you hears whose family it is.

Smart Home Hub (1600 credits): site it at your home, then control lights, brightness, music and moods by typed voice-style commands. Examples: slash smarthome lights on, slash smarthome dim 30, slash smarthome mood party, slash smarthome status. Or use Speak to the panel in its menu. It keeps home reminders and tells you who rang your doorbell while you were out.

PASSES (used up)

Concert Hall Pass (350 credits): opens a 15 minute concert right where you stand, under a title you choose. Nearby players press shift and enter to join the audience.

Custom Plot Request Token (1500 credits): write a request for a small custom-built plot. It goes into a real staff queue, and a staff member tells you when it is built.

Vanity Plate Charter (900 credits): reserve a plate text of 2 to 8 letters and digits for your account for good, so no other player can put it on a car. Fit it with your car's number plate option.

Personal Voice Assistant, one week (400 credits): a weekly subscription, stacking up to 8 weeks. Your assistant greets you with a daily briefing on your first login each day, keeps reminders even across server restarts and while you are offline, takes messages from any player while you are away, and warns you a day before your week runs out. Renew from Life plus, Grand Vault.

Your luxury yacht

If you own the Luxury Yacht from the credit shop, the Grand Vault menu also takes you straight to it, so you can host a party at sea for your guests.
