Wow items

Five special items from the credit shop. Each one is permanent. The first time you use it from your bag it is bound to your account forever, leaves your bag, and can never be lost, dropped, traded, sold or stolen. None of them make you stronger in a fight or make points, credits or items.

Open them from the Village life menu, More to do, WOW items, or type /wow.

Nothing here works in arenas, PK areas or jail, while you are dead, in a vehicle or on a bike, travelling, or in the middle of a fight. Anything you eat or drink from these menus really changes your hunger and thirst.

PERSONAL AIRSHIP, 3000 CREDITS, /airship

Your own airship with a private deck.

Stand anywhere outdoors. Invite up to 6 players standing within 15 steps of you. They have 2 minutes to accept and must stay near you until you cast off.

Choose where to fly: the Skyport, any destination of the air network you have already landed at by plane, or back to where you last boarded the airship from outside the air network.

The voyage takes 40 seconds for every minute the same flight takes by plane, which is 4 to 8 minutes, and 5 minutes to the Skyport or back home. You can sail once every 2 hours.

Everyone steps onto your private deck. Walk around and press shift and enter at:

The brass spyglass at the bow: describes what you see behind you, around you, and ahead.

The captain's wheel just behind it: steer for a while. When a sudden gust hits, the first person to take the wheel within 25 seconds steadies the ship and unlocks the Helmsman emote.

The sky bar on the left: six drinks and a warm pretzel. Each person may have 3 drinks and 1 pretzel per voyage.

The guest book on the right: sign it once per voyage, up to 120 letters. The owner keeps the last 60 entries.

The gondola lounge at the back, with soft music.

You land at the arrival point of the destination. Your first voyage earns the title Captain of the Skies, 10 voyages a trophy. Everyone aboard collects a stamp for the Skyfarer's Stamps collection: one for the Skyport, one for each of the five regions of the air network, and one for the home mooring.

Name your airship and read the captain's log from the airship menu.

TALKING PARROT, 1200 CREDITS, /parrot

A parrot that rides on your shoulder wherever you go. You can also let it rest at home.

Feed it a walnut, a hazelnut, a strawberry, a mango or a blueberry from your bag. One piece keeps it fed for a day. It eats at most once every 30 minutes. It has a favourite food: after its favourite, every lesson for the next hour succeeds.

After 24 hours without food it is hungry and will not learn. After 72 hours it sulks and will not talk.

Tricks: 8 of them. Each needs 3 good lessons, one lesson every 10 minutes. About 7 lessons in 10 count.

Phrases: 16 of them. Each needs 2 good lessons, one lesson every 5 minutes. It knows Hello from the start.

Tricks and phrases are seen and heard by everyone within 12 steps, once every 15 seconds.

Ask it the time, the weather, or where you are.

Ask it to look out for dangerous animals: it checks for wolves, bears, polar bears, boars, lions, leopards, coyotes, pythons and sharks within 25 steps and tells you the nearest one and its direction. Once every 20 seconds.

While it rides on your shoulder it greets the players on your friends list, and up to 20 pals you add, when you walk up to them. It greets each person at most once every 15 minutes. You can switch greetings off.

Your first learned trick unlocks the Parrot Perch emote, all 8 tricks the title the Parrot Whisperer, all 16 phrases a trophy.

DJ BOOTH, 1500 CREDITS, /djbooth

Set it up outdoors for 30 minutes, at least 50 steps from any other booth. You can set it up again 60 minutes after the last time. At most 6 booths play in the world at once.

Choose from 16 tracks. The music plays from the booth itself, and everyone within 45 steps hears it. A new track blends in over the old one.

Sound the air horn, get the crowd cheering, shout one of 8 lines into the microphone, or stop the music for a moment.

Other players press shift and enter at the booth, or type /djbooth near it, to join the dance floor. Dancers pick dance moves and can cheer for the DJ.

Every 30 seconds while music plays, every dancer within 6 steps gets 50 energy and warms up a little, up to 300 energy a day from dancing.

A dancer who stays 2 minutes while music plays becomes a fan of that set.

The DJ with the most fans in a week, Monday to Sunday, wins a Top DJ of the Week trophy and, the first time, the title Top DJ. 25 fans in total earn the title Resident DJ.

The booth packs up when its time runs out, or when the DJ walks more than 60 steps away or leaves.

PRIVATE HOT AIR BALLOON, 1800 CREDITS, /balloon

Stand outdoors and invite up to 3 players. Then choose where to land: the places on this map between 20 and 350 steps away, nearest first, or a round trip back to the same spot.

The flight takes 1 to 3 minutes. You rise in stages with the burner roaring, then drift over the places below, and the pilot tells you what you pass.

In the basket: look down, blast the burner, wave to the people below (they hear it), and one cold lemonade each.

The pilot lands on safe, walkable open ground at your chosen place, never in water, on a wall or inside a building. If there is none, you land back where you started.

You can fly once every 45 minutes. Your first flight earns a trophy, 10 different landing places the title the Balloonist.

ICE CREAM CART, 900 CREDITS, /icecream

Park it outdoors for 20 minutes, once every 60 minutes, at least 20 steps from another cart.

Players within 30 steps hear its jingle every 45 seconds. Ring the bell or call out to them.

Everybody who presses shift and enter at the cart gets one free cone of one of 10 flavours each time the cart opens. It feeds you, refreshes you and gives energy.

Every other player you serve is a smile for you. 50 smiles earn the title the Ice Cream Hero, and the vendor with the most smiles in a week wins a trophy.

What you hear from other players

In WOW items, What you hear from other players' WOW items, you can switch off: DJ booth music, ice cream jingles, other players' parrots, airships and balloons passing overhead, and the weekly winners announcement. This also works from Privacy options, Announcements.
