Thank-you notes

Thank somebody who helped you, with a short note. Five notes a day, one per person per day. If they are offline the note waits for them. 10 notes received earn the title Kind Neighbour, 50 the title Pillar of the Community, 150 the Golden Heart trophy. Command: /thanks name note.

Kindness week

Every thank-you note counts toward a weekly goal of 150 notes from everybody. When it is reached, all who sent a note that week earn the title Kindness Week Helper.

Gift circle

A secret gift exchange. Join from Monday to Thursday. On Friday each member is given one secret person. Choose a present from your bag; one of it goes to them (offline players get it at login). On Sunday you find out who surprised you. At least 3 members are needed. Money, credits and items that cannot be dropped cannot be given. 3 circles earn the title Secret Giver.

Community potluck

Once a day. Bring one food from your bag. When 6 different people brought something, the table is served and every one of them eats a big filling meal (offline players get theirs at login). 10 potlucks earn the title Potluck Regular.

Community story

Everybody writes one story together, one sentence at a time, 12 sentences long. You cannot write two sentences in a row, and at most 3 a day. Finished stories are kept. 5 finished stories earn the title Village Storyteller.

Ask the community

Put up a question (at most 3 open at once); others answer; you mark the best answer. Questions stay up for a week. 5 best answers earn the title Helpful Voice, 25 the title Village Sage. Command: /ask question.

Meetup points

Mark where you stand with a short label, for two hours. Your friends and club members see it, hear its direction and distance from them, and can say they are coming. Command: /meetup label.

Write what you are happy to help with. Others search by a word, or list helpers online now, and send you a private message.

About me

Say how your name is pronounced, and answer five short get-to-know-me questions. They show on your profile. Find people online who answered like you.

Wish lanterns

Once a day, let a paper lantern rise with a wish. People near you see it; anybody who switched on Hear every lantern sees all of them. The last 20 lanterns can be read. Command: /lantern wish.

Away note

A short note like "cooking dinner". People who send you a private message hear it, once every five minutes, and it shows in your friends' lists. Command: /away note, and /away alone to take it off.

Friends tools

Your friends with online friends first and where they are (if they share their position), friends on this map with direction and distance, people you may know (friends of your friends), one message to all online friends (3 a day), tidy up friends not seen for 60 days, club members online now.

Community board tools

Read only the notices that are new for you (you are also told at login how many are new), search the board, reply to whoever pinned a notice, take down one of your own notices.
