Crafting System & Recipes

Crafting is a fundamental skill for survival in Life in nature. By combining raw materials found in the world, you can create essential tools, weapons, and structures. To combine two items, place one in each hand and press T.

This list of recipes will be updated over time as more craftable items are added to the game.

Arrow

  1. Combine Knife + Branch to make 1 Arrow Shaft.
  2. Combine Knife + Arrow Shaft to make 1 Notched Arrow Shaft.
  3. Combine Stone + Flint to make 1 Flint Arrowhead. (Note: This is not a 100% success rate; you may need to press T multiple times).
  4. Combine Flint Arrowhead + Notched Arrow Shaft to make 1 Arrow.

Boat

  1. Combine Wood + Wood to make 1 Precarious Block. (Repeat to get 2).
  2. Combine Clay + Precarious Block to make 1 Block. (Repeat to get 2).
  3. Combine Clay + Block to make 1 Sticky Block. (Repeat to get 2).
  4. Combine Sticky Block + Sticky Block to make 1 Huge Block.
  5. Combine Grass + Grass to make 1 String. (Uses 10 Grass per string. Repeat until you have 2 strings).
  6. Combine String + Branch to make 1 Tied Branch. (Repeat to get 2).
  7. Combine Tied Branch + Branch to make 1 Wooden Triangle. (Repeat to get 2).
  8. Combine Wooden Triangle + Wooden Triangle to make 1 Disfigured Frame.
  9. Combine Disfigured Frame + Knife to make 1 Frame.
  10. Combine Frame + Huge Block to make 1 Disfigured Boat.
  11. Combine Disfigured Boat + Knife to make 1 Boat.

Compass

  1. Combine Clay + (Empty Hand) to make 1 Dipped Bowl. (Repeat to get 2).
  2. Combine Water + Dipped Bowl to make 1 Filled Dipped Bowl.
  3. Combine Leaves + Metal to make 1 Direction Finder.
  4. Combine Direction Finder + Filled Dipped Bowl to make 1 Broken Compass.
  5. Combine Broken Compass + Dipped Bowl to make 1 Compass.

Hammer

  1. Combine Knife + Clay to make 1 Soft Hammerhead.
  2. Combine Soft Hammerhead + Fire to make 1 Hammerhead.
  3. Combine Knife + Wood to make 1 Carved Wood. (Repeat until you have 2).
  4. Combine Knife + Carved Wood to make 1 Shaft. (Repeat until you have 2).
  5. Combine Shaft + Shaft to make 1 Long Shaft.
  6. Combine Long Shaft + Glue to make 1 Sticky Long Shaft.
  7. Combine Sticky Long Shaft + Hammerhead to make 1 Loosely Connected Hammer.
  8. Combine String + Loosely Connected Hammer to make 1 Hammer.

Net (Fishing Net)

  1. Combine Grass + Grass to make String. (You will need 400 total grass, resulting in 400 strings).
  2. Combine String (x400) + (Empty Hand) to make 1 Broken Net. (This represents weaving the strings into a net base).
  3. Create a Frame (see Boat recipe steps 5-9 for Frame construction).
  4. Combine Frame + Broken Net to make 1 Net.

Paddle

  1. Combine Knife + Wood to make Carved Wood. (Total needed: 3).
  2. Combine Carved Wood + Carved Wood to make 1 Plank.
  3. Combine Knife + Plank to make 1 Carved Plank.
  4. Combine Knife + Carved Wood to make 1 Shaft.
  5. Combine Carved Plank + Shaft to make 1 Disfigured Paddle.
  6. Combine Knife + Disfigured Paddle to make 1 Paddle.

Pot

  1. Combine Clay + Clay to make 1 Pot.

Spear

  1. Combine Stone + Stone to make 1 Pointed Stone. (May require multiple attempts).
  2. Combine Pointed Stone + Knife to make 1 Spear Head. (May require multiple attempts).
  3. Combine Knife + Wood to make Carved Wood. (Total needed: 4).
  4. Combine Knife + Carved Wood to make Shaft. (Total needed: 4).
  5. Combine Shaft + Shaft to make Long Shaft. (Total needed: 2).
  6. Combine Long Shaft + Glue to make 1 Sticky Long Shaft.
  7. Combine Sticky Long Shaft + Long Shaft to make 1 Very Long Shaft.
  8. Combine Very Long Shaft + Knife to make 1 Single Notched Very Long Shaft.
  9. Combine Single Notched Very Long Shaft + Glue to make 1 Sticky Single Notched Very Long Shaft.
  10. Combine Spearhead + Sticky Single Notched Very Long Shaft to make 1 Loosely Connected Spear.
  11. Combine String + Loosely Connected Spear to make 1 Spear. (May require multiple attempts to wrap).

Spit

  1. Combine Knife + Wood to make Carved Wood. (Total needed: 4).
  2. Combine Knife + Carved Wood to make Shaft. (Total needed: 4).
  3. Combine Shaft + Shaft to make Long Shaft. (Total needed: 2).
  4. Combine Long Shaft + Long Shaft to make 1 Spit.
