1. Who sells the credits
The credit shop is run by NBM Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15164588. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. AudioWander and Life in Nature are our brands. In these terms, "we" and "us" means NBM Digital Ltd, and "you" means the person who buys.
2. What you are buying
- LN credits are an in-game currency for Life in Nature. They are digital content: they are not supplied on a physical medium, and they exist only inside the game.
- When you buy credits, you get the right to use them in Life in Nature under these terms and the game rules. Credits are not money and are not a bank deposit or e-money.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, paid out, or sold back to us.
- Credits cannot be transferred outside the game. You may only move them to another player in the ways the game itself offers. Selling or trading credits or accounts for real money, or through any other website or service, is not allowed.
- Credits are tied to the game account they are delivered to.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The standard price is £1.25 for 100 credits, and this is what you pay with PayPal. Paying by card through Stripe gives you a 20% card discount on the standard price: 100 credits cost £1.00. The discount is our choice to reward the cheaper payment method; no fee is added to any payment method.
- The order summary shows the total for every player in your order before you pay, and the payment page of Stripe or PayPal shows it again before you confirm.
- The total shown is the full price you pay to us. Prices include any taxes shown. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees, for example for currency conversion; those are between you and them.
- Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
- We may change prices for future orders at any time. A change never affects an order you have already paid for.
4. Delivery
Credits are delivered automatically and immediately after the payment is completed, usually within a few seconds, to every player named in the order. A player who is in the game hears a sound and a message. A player who is offline finds the credits in their bag at their next login.
5. Your right to cancel
When you buy something online in the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to change your mind and cancel, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, such as LN credits, that right ends once supply has begun, if you have given your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel.
Before you pay, we therefore ask you to tick a box confirming: "I want my credits delivered immediately and I understand that I lose my right to cancel once they are delivered. I have read the credit shop terms." You cannot pay without ticking it. Because credits are delivered as soon as the payment completes, you cannot cancel an order once the credits have been delivered. If for any reason delivery has not started yet, you can still cancel: contact us straight away.
6. Refunds
- Credits are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- If your credits do not arrive, or the wrong amount arrives, contact us with the player name and the date of payment. We will deliver the missing credits or refund you for what was not delivered.
- If the credits are faulty or not as described, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Normally we put it right by delivering the correct credits; where the law says so, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund.
- Credits that have been delivered and used are not refunded or exchanged.
- Credits are not refunded because an account was banned for breaking the game rules, except where the law requires it.
7. Buying for other players
- You can buy credits for yourself or for other players, up to 10 players in one order. Credits bought for another player are a gift to that player. Once delivered, they belong to the receiving account and cannot be taken back or moved because you changed your mind.
- You are responsible for typing the right player names. We check that every name belongs to an existing account before you pay, but we cannot know whether it is the player you meant. If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible; if the credits have not been used yet, we will try to help, but we cannot promise to.
- The order is paid by one person, the buyer. Only the buyer can ask about the payment, the receipt or a refund.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If something is wrong with an order, please contact us first: we answer every case and can usually fix it quickly. If you instead ask your bank, card issuer or PayPal to reverse the payment for an order that was delivered (a chargeback or dispute):
- the credits of that order are removed from every account they were delivered to; and
- the accounts involved may be suspended while we look into it, and closed if the payment was fraudulent.
If a dispute is decided in your favour because we failed to deliver, none of this applies.
9. Your account and the game rules
Credits are used under the rules of Life in Nature. Life in Nature is a live game: what credits can buy and what things cost in the game can change over time. If an account is suspended or banned for breaking the game rules, the credits on it cannot be used while it is suspended and are lost if it is closed.
10. Credit events
Sometimes we run events in which every purchase delivers two, three or four times the credits paid for. The event bonus depends on whether the event is running when the credits are delivered. Bonus credits follow these same terms. We decide when events start and end.
11. What we record about your order
For every order we keep the player names, the amounts, the payment reference of Stripe or PayPal, and your consent to immediate delivery: the date and time, your IP address and the wording you agreed to. We keep this to deliver the credits, to show that you agreed to these terms, to prevent fraud and to answer questions about the order. See our privacy policy.
12. Your legal rights and the law that applies
Nothing in these terms takes away or limits your legal rights as a consumer. Where a term above says something different from what the law requires, the law applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the place where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
