When you leave the Middle Valley map, track green divide with the letter K. When you arrive here, track rain forest with the letter K again and press Shift + Enter the same way.
On this map, go to hunter's house by tracking it with K, then press Shift + Enter.
When you buy the item and accept it from the quest options, your points will be reflected in your inventory.
