Hi Smith and team,
I am writing to report a critical audio bug introduced in version 2.20 on Android 14 that renders the game unplayable for accessibility users relying on TTS (Text-to-Speech).
Device Setup:
Device: Samsung Galaxy A23 5G
OS: Android 14 (One UI 6.1)
Speech Output: Android TTS (eSpeak / Google TTS)
Audio: Bluetooth headphones (Sony WH-CH720N) and internal speaker
Issue Description:
After a few minutes of gameplay, the app's audio engine experiences a severe audio buffer overflow/leak. The sound becomes distorted, static-heavy, and produces a scratching noise. While the TTS engine continues to read text, the audio system gets trapped in a distorted audio loop with constant scratching.
Additional Observations:
Lowering the app volume via Samsung's Sound Assistant fixes the TTS voice distortion, but the underlying scratching sound and buffer corruption remain.
Reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue, confirming it is an internal audio engine memory leak on mobile.
Suggested Fix:
Please check the local audio garbage collection and buffer management for the Android client. An automatic audio driver/buffer reset mechanism upon startup or buffer overload would prevent this crash.
Thank you for looking into this!
