Updated August 2026: newer weapons since this page was written include the cop357 revolver, the poisoned dagger (drawn from a skinned snake) and the throwable beer bottle. PK rules: turning PK off is locked for a while after a fight, and the lock now survives a server restart. Death outside PK no longer drops your items.





Combat & PK Mode


Combat is a crucial part of Life in nature, necessary for both hunting wild animals for resources and engaging in Player vs. Player (PvP) battles. This section covers the tools and rules of engagement.






How to Attack


To attack a target (either an animal or another player), you must first face them directly. Once your character is facing the target, equip your desired weapon and use it to strike. Correct positioning is key to landing a successful hit.







Weapons & Equipment




Weapon Types


A variety of weapons are available for different purposes, such as hunting, chopping trees, and fighting. These include:




• Sword

• Spear

• Hammer

• Knife

• Axe

• Boomerang

• Lance

• Shotgun

• Revolver

• Grenade





Ammunition

Some ranged weapons require specific ammunition to function:



• The revolver requires bullit ammunition.

• The shotgun requires shotgun_shell ammunition.





Defense


It is highly recommended to equip a shield before engaging in combat. A shield provides vital protection against incoming attacks from both animals and other players.





PK Mode (Player Killing)


PK mode is a feature that allows players to attack and fight each other. To activate it, use the pk command.





Rules of PK Mode



• When PK mode is active, you can deal damage to and be damaged by other players who also have PK mode enabled.

• The mode lasts for 40 minutes. However, the timer will reset every time you take damage from another player.

• There is a dedicated map called the pkmap. To enter this map, you must have PK mode active.



Warning: High Risk, High Reward! If you are killed by another player in PK mode, your corpse and all of your inventory items will be dropped on the ground. The player who killed you (or anyone else) can then loot all of your belongings. Always be aware of the risks before enabling PK mode.





Hunting


Hunting is a universal activity available to all players at any time, regardless of their PK status. It is a key method for gathering food and other valuable resources from the various animals in the world. Remember to face the animal directly before attacking.
