Two of the more recent additions to the kitchen and the workshop, in one place.
Fish. Every fish species has its own dish. Stand beside a lit fire and use the raw fish to cook it. Raw river fish should never be eaten. Bigger fish make more filling meals, so a large catch is worth carrying home rather than eating on the bank.
Ammunition. Firing a modern weapon usually leaves the brass case behind, and cases can be turned back into working rounds at the ammunition bench, which is under kitchen and health in Village life:
Three scrap metal beside a lit fire cast two lead shot.
Three ash and two matches make a measure of gunpowder.
A case plus powder plus lead makes one working round.
Keep the cases. They are the part you cannot make from scratch.
Half-finished items. Some recipes go through an in-between item, such as the pot of chicken that becomes chicken soup once you add a cup. If you use an item and nothing seems to happen, the game now tells you what to combine it with and what you will get. The full list of recipes is in the game guide on the website.
