Life in Nature runs on Android phones and tablets. This is what to expect the first time, and how to avoid the common problems.
The first start downloads the sound pack. It is large, around 670 megabytes, because every sound in the game is real recorded audio. Use wi-fi, keep the phone plugged in, and leave the app in the foreground. The download continues from where it stopped if it is interrupted, so a lost connection only costs time, not the whole download.
Storage. Make sure the phone has at least one and a half gigabytes free before you start. If the storage fills up during the download, the game notices, keeps what it has, and continues when space is available.
Sound. Headphones are strongly recommended; the game places every sound around you and a phone speaker cannot do that. If you use Bluetooth headphones and footsteps feel late, try a wired pair.
TalkBack. The game speaks on its own. You can play with TalkBack on or off; if touches seem to be ignored, switch TalkBack off for the session.
Keyboard. A Bluetooth keyboard works and gives you the same keys as the desktop version.
Purchases. Credits bought through Google Play are delivered to your character by the game. If a purchase does not show up, wait a minute with the game open and connected; if it still does not arrive, open a ticket from the game menu with the order number from the Google Play receipt e-mail, and the staff will sort it out.
Battery. Long sessions are easier with the phone plugged in. The game keeps working when the screen is dimmed.
If you are stuck at any point, the Getting Started category is the place to ask.
