Hello everybody, I really wanted to bring something up that I've wanted to talk about for some time, first of all the game says after a war the modern technology has been destroyed and people are trying to survive with medieval means yet we have cars here and they can even be driven across the ocean and we have car radios and internet insite a car, and also sirens in police cars if modern technology and infrastructure have been destroyed, modern technology is supposed to be gone how can there be cars, cars really don't fit the game's setting, and it feels completely out of place I'm not saying I dislike cars I'm saying they don't fit the game, if transportation was used through horses wagons Boats carts, and these stuff, wouldn't it be much better?, let me know what you people think

Yes, after that catastrophe, we survived and continued our tech and science exploration. Think of it, the same humans that invented this technology before that nuclear catastrophe are the same humans who survived and began from scratch.

i understand your explanation, but i am not going to pretend it answers my point, if humans really Survived catastrophe and rebuild technology from scratch, then there should be a clear explanation of how they managed to rebuild Advanced vehicles radios internet access and modern police equipment, and not just this the cars can be driven across the Ocean, while the world is supposed to live with Medieval means, and the game says, Set in a post-apocalyptic world, players must survive after global wars, nuclear explosions, and
powerful solar storms have destroyed modern technology. With most of the planet flooded, survivors
are left to continue life using only medieval-level resources., okay then would you explain it to me where did they say this is how humans got back, since they have to live with Medieval Sources, okay if the game have explained this before, i haven't seen it, i'd be very happy if you could tell me, thanks

And actualy, I also agree with this. And cars, actualy, have modern features like remote unlock , start, get remote status updates about your vehicle... Famous brands like Tesla or BMW do that a long time now. So they're not even simple cars. And when cars came I was disapointed with the direction the thing is going. This is no longer a re- emmagination of Survive the wild, this is a mix of Survive the wild, The sims( characters needs, trades, skills...), Farmvill 3( plant, harvest and sell), GTA v( cars, pk), and FIFA. ( football)

hi meow. well i'm agree with this and just with the car and juicers, i mean, even barns and that stuff are still medieval level, even if people would craft them from scratch, wagons and carts may use the same programming ways but different sounds or slightly different mechanics but it would be interesting to even run a war with horses carriages and that lol. market stalls and crops everywere are a bit anoying to interact with, but anyways. i loved the food ahahaha

all valid points, but me personally, i kinda just read it as, when the game started they had an idea, and they changed that, but forgot to update the original story

honestly i think everyone here has made some really good points, I'm not saying Cars or modern technology should simply be removed, because i Actually think they can be intresting additions if they fit the world properly, my main point is about consistency, if people survived the war slowly rebuild society and eventually rediscovered or recreated some technology then i think the game should explain that somewhere in it's lore, that would make a lot more sense to me, right now the game presents A world where modern technology was distroyed and people are supposedly surviving with medieval means, yet we also have cars that can be driven across the ocean radios internet access police sirens ,and other things that feel far Beyond what the current lore suggests, if the original idea of the game changed during development i can completely understand that too, games Evolve and ideas change, but in that case i think the lore should Evolve alongside gameplay so that the 2 don't contradict eachother, i'm not trying to tell the developers how they have to make the game, i'm just saying with a clear explanation, of how this technology survived, returned, or was reinvented, the world would feel much more believable and immersive, that's all i am trying to point out
