The forum is built to be read with a screen reader, and it works the same in NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. These are the habits that make it fast.
Headings. Every page has one level 1 heading with the page title. On a topic page every post, including the first one, has a level 3 heading that reads the post number and the author, for example "#4 Snowman". Press H, or 3, to jump from post to post; press Shift plus H to go back. The reply form has its own level 2 heading, so 2 takes you straight to it.
Landmarks. The page has a banner with the navigation, a main region with the content and a footer with the secondary links. The D key in NVDA, or the landmark rotor in VoiceOver, moves between them. The first link on every page is "Skip to main content".
Tables. Topic lists are real tables with column headers, so you can read a row with the table commands and hear the topic, the author, the number of replies and the last activity together.
Forms. Every field has a label, and every error is read aloud as an alert when the page reloads. The accessibility check on the registration page is a plain arithmetic question, not an image.
Preferences. The Preferences page, also available to visitors as Display options, lets you choose a dark, light or high contrast theme and a larger text size. The choice is remembered on your device.
Inside the game. Everything here can also be read and answered from the Community forum entry in the game menu, or by typing /forum in the chat. The game and the website share the same account, so notifications about replies, mentions and private messages reach you in both places.
