How the forum works: rewards, approval, attachments and the English rule 📌 Pinned Official

This topic explains the rules that the forum software applies automatically, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Rewards. Every member who starts a topic receives coins in Life in Nature. The amount and the daily limit are shown on the new topic page. The reward is paid when the topic is public: right away for established members, and as soon as a staff member approves it for new members. If you are online in the game the coins arrive immediately; otherwise you get them at your next login.

Approval of topics. Topics from new members are reviewed before they become public. You can see your own topic while it waits, and you are told inside the game as well as on the forum when it is approved. After a few approved contributions your topics appear immediately. Replies never wait.

Attachments. You can attach audio recordings and other files to topics and replies. Files from members are checked by the staff before other members can open them; the uploader can always open their own file. The allowed file types and the size limit are shown next to the upload field.

English. Topics and replies are written in English. Texts that clearly read as another language are refused with a friendly message before they are posted, and nothing is lost: your text stays in the form. The Other languages category is exempt from this rule.

Links. Only audiowander.com links can be posted. New members cannot post links until they have a few approved posts.

Spam protection. There is a short waiting time between posts, an hourly limit, a daily limit for new topics, and duplicate messages are refused. Automated posting is blocked. Content reported by several members is hidden until the staff have looked at it.

Polls, best answers and signatures. When you start a topic you can add a poll with up to eight options. The author of a question, or a staff member, can mark one reply as the best answer, which is then shown at the top of the topic. A signature can be set on your profile page.
