Getting Started

This section will guide you through the essential first steps to begin your journey in Life in nature, from creating your character to surviving your first day.

Creating Your Player Account

After launching the game, you must create a player account. Navigate to the following menu:

Login Options > Submenu > Create a player account

You will need to enter a character name, a password, and a valid email address. After accepting the terms and selecting your character's gender, you will be ready to enter the game world.

Your First Moments: Survival Basics

You will spawn in a location called The Central Valley. Your first and most important goal is to take care of your thirst and hunger. You begin with an inventory containing clothes and a starter pack called life_pack.

Your Starting Gear: Inside the life_pack

To see your gear, open your inventory (I), place the life_pack in your hands, and press T to open it. Inside, you will find a collection of essential items:

• Survival & Tools:
  • 10x firestarter: Used to start fires.
  • 1x package_of_flairs_and_matches: Contains flares and matches.
  • 1x package_of_knife_and_watch: Contains a knife for various tasks and a water watch to tell the time.
  • 1x bag_of_strings: Contains 50 strings, a crucial component for crafting many items.
  • 3x package_of_batterys: Contains batteries for electronic devices like the health scanner.
• Food & Drink:
  • 1x water_bottle: Your primary tool for quenching thirst. Keep it filled!
  • 2x package_of_protein_bars: A quick source of food to manage hunger.
  • 5x meal_kit: These must be combined with boiling water to create an eatable_meal_kit, which satisfies both hunger and thirst.
  • 1x bag_of_cups: Contains several cups for filling with liquids like water, soda, or beer.
• Medical & Utility:
  • 1x package_of_medical_items: Contains 6x sleeping_pill, 1x bandaids for restoring health, 5x antibiotic, and 5x bone_healler for fractures.
  • 1x bag_of_towels: Contains towels to clean yourself.
• Defense & Communication:
  • 1x package_of_weapons: Contains a revolver and 30 bullets for hunting animals and self-defense.
  • 1x package_of_radio: Contains a radio for communicating with other players.

Quenching Thirst and Hunger

With your new gear, follow these steps to survive:

1. Immediately locate the water_bottle from your opened pack, place it in a hand, and press Space to drink.
2. Next, find a package_of_protein_bars. Open it just like the life_pack to get individual bars, then equip a bar and press Space to eat.

A Crucial First Craft: The Pot

The water_bottle holds a limited amount of water. To carry more, you must craft a pot. It's simple to make:

1. Find two pieces of clay on the ground.
2. Place one piece of clay in each hand.
3. Press T to combine them into a pot.

The more pots you have, the more water you can collect and carry, which is essential for longer journeys.
